Blog Candy Giveaway

Ok, I am so thrilled to be a Grandma! Addison (see previous post) is so adorable and gives me much "Love and Happiness" that I have to share some "LOVE and HAPPINESS" with you.

Here's how it will work:
Leave a comment with this posting about anything, especially "baby" or "baby & stamping" related. Leave me a link as well if you have some online samples.

We will leave this for one week, and on Friday Feb 29 (leap year too ;) I will make a random drawing and announce the winner.

What will you win? You will receive from me, the "Love and Happiness" rubons shown with this posting. These are great for both Stamping and Scrapbooking as they are acid free and scrapbook safe. The package includes 4 sheets, Black, White, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip...in the images shown. You can use Rub ons on paper and most nonporous surfaces including glass, photos, clipboards, candles and more. (check the photo here for a sample) The only limit will be your imagination.
Feel free to post to your own blog and share this Blog Candy as I am also looking for baby card inspiration...

Congratulations Valerie....
I know just how you feel...I became a "Nonnie" (rhymes with Mommy, our name for grandma) in September...Wow, what an absolutely unexplainable feeling... but isn't it great?! I am thoroughly enjoying my new title! LOL I am sorry that I don't have any links for you...I just sort of do the "baby things" as I am inspired... Enjoy that new grandbaby....

PS I have found the best baby sugar to be hidden right behind their ears...and its REALLY good right after their baths...LOL

Congratulations on becoming an Oma, Val! Addison is precious! Ahhh, look at that little finger reaching out. I could hold a new little one all day! :) That's the best part about being a grandma, you get all the cuddling you want and then you get to have a good nights rest! lol :)

Enjoy time they grow up way too fast! I can't believe my daughters are 4 and 6 years old already! Where does the time go?

Have a great night!

Julie

Congrats on your new grandbaby! What timing...My son's first grade teacher is pg with her first baby. I am organizing a shower for her from the class. I sent home a piece of 6 x 6 card stock and asked the kids to give Mrs. M some tips to prepare for the new baby. I am going to put it together in a scrapbook and it will be called "Baby Advice from 1st Graders". I read a similar idea on line so I can't take credit for coming up with it all on my own. Thank you.

Oh my Addison is so sweet. I wish I was an aunt already. But since that just hasn't happened I'll have to be satisfied with new little cousins and 2 cousins.

What a beautiful baby. Never having been blessed with any children of my own I live vicariously through my sister's 4 kids. I love being an auntie and look forward to being a grandauntie some day. Congratulations on Addison's arrival. You must be thrilled.
Thanks for offering the blog candy to help celebrate. What a generous thing to do.

Thinking Pink for a few minutes

A friend had a baby girl so I had an excuse to work with the pink colours for this card. Again it features the retired "Bundle of Joy" and I also used my cuttlebut for the textured hearts. The base of the card is Regal Rose and the accent is Pretty in Pink. Someone asked how I am getting my "watermark" on my photos. I am creating it each time I edit my photos so I am not really using a "watermark" as such. Difficult to explain because I don't really know what I am doing. I use Photoshop CS2...

Class Preparations

Every year I am asked to do a "Christmas Craft" with the ESL students at our local college. Usually there are around 20 students but this year there is 40! Wow... a little nervous about this but it should work out. My plan is to have them create a "votive holder" and a Christmas card that they can either give to their host family or take/send home to their own families. Usually they want to keep it themselves though as they are very excited to have created something so cool with their own hands. This post shows this years votive holder which features the Hostess Set: Perfect Presentation. The cardstock is Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate. Enjoy!
