Blog Candy Giveaway

Ok, I am so thrilled to be a Grandma! Addison (see previous post) is so adorable and gives me much "Love and Happiness" that I have to share some "LOVE and HAPPINESS" with you.

Here's how it will work:
Leave a comment with this posting about anything, especially "baby" or "baby & stamping" related. Leave me a link as well if you have some online samples.

We will leave this for one week, and on Friday Feb 29 (leap year too ;) I will make a random drawing and announce the winner.

What will you win? You will receive from me, the "Love and Happiness" rubons shown with this posting. These are great for both Stamping and Scrapbooking as they are acid free and scrapbook safe. The package includes 4 sheets, Black, White, Old Olive and Chocolate the images shown. You can use Rub ons on paper and most nonporous surfaces including glass, photos, clipboards, candles and more. (check the photo here for a sample) The only limit will be your imagination.
Feel free to post to your own blog and share this Blog Candy as I am also looking for baby card inspiration...

Thinking Pink for a few minutes

A friend had a baby girl so I had an excuse to work with the pink colours for this card. Again it features the retired "Bundle of Joy" and I also used my cuttlebut for the textured hearts. The base of the card is Regal Rose and the accent is Pretty in Pink.

Someone asked how I am getting my "watermark" on my photos. I am creating it each time I edit my photos so I am not really using a "watermark" as such. Difficult to explain because I don't really know what I am doing. I use Photoshop CS2...

Today is our Japanese student's birthday. We had a great celebration with her and a guest, including some major "baby" time where everyone got to hold Addison. She loved her gifts and was especially thankful for a home-made card. I can't say this is my own design as I copied it from a sample received in a swap when this set was in the mini catalog. But I have added a few of my own touches. Enjoy!

Baby on the Brain!

I have been playing today. After I put up the Blog Candy, I realized I had a baby set that had never touched ink. What is with that?????

Ok, I really wanted this set when it was in the Spring mini last year. I coveted it...But resisted. Then in July when I was told I was going to be a Grandmother... well I HAD to get it. I had a reason to get it. Does it matter to me that it hit the retirement list? No, sad as I never did demo it, but I am happy I got it and now I am playing with it. So, here are the samplings for today.

By the Way, I am loving all the comments and links that you are all sharing. I check each and every one out...

My little Grandson "Addison" was born yesterday morning. I am so excited! He weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and looks exactly like his daddy...
Sorry for not stamping... I will have some baby items shortly.
